Reports: Overview
Page impression: This shows how many times your adsense ad appears. If you show your own webpage then it page impression can be count. But do not worry there is no problem unless you click on your own ad.
Clicks: How many click do you generate from your reader.
Page CTR: It shows your click rate in percentage. If your page impression is 50 and and you get 2 clicks then your page ctr will be 4%. That means If your page impression would be 100 then you'll get 4 clicks.{ (clicks/total impression)*100 } Page ctr is important for google to track your invalid clicks. Normal page ctr is less than 15%. I think if you cross this limit then google'll investigate for invalid clicks.
Page eCPM: Accualy it is an mathematical calculation. Google'll not pay that money. It shows if you earn in this way you'll earn that money from 1000 impression. That means if you earn $1 from 100 impression then you'll earn $10 from 1000 impression. { (total earn/total impression)*1000} It also helps google to track your invalid clicks.
Earning: That is the total amount of your earning.

Adsense setup: Get ads
From here you can make your ads code. Ads example
Adsense for content: Ad unit/Link unit:
1.Select which type of ads do you want text, image or both. Sometimes image ads are so attractive. So you can get more clicks from here. I suggest you to select text and image ads(default).
2.Select ads format > colors > corner styles (which that fits for your site). Then select channels. If you do not want channels just click continue. For more details about channels please see in channels below.
3.If you want give a name for your ad code. Submit and get ad code. If you want this code frequently then you can save this in your PC also. It will better to ad more then 3 ad unit in one single page.
AdSense for search:
1.select search type. If you select only site i select then people find less result for their search. As a result they do not want to search something from your site. So i suggest to select entire web.
2.Give keywords that is relative to your site. e.g. your site is about earning money then you can give money, dollar, income, earn etc. You can give some keywords like song, software, theme, mobile, ring tone that is not related with your site. Do not worry. It does not create any problems rather than it'll give you more opportunity to earn money from search. Google shows result follow by this keywords.
3.If you select safe search people do not get harmful like pornography result from your search. It creates no problem to untick it.
4.select a style as you want. If you want your result in your own website then select "Open result within my own site". Otherwise select "open result in google......".Name your search engine and get code.
Manage ads: You get here all your ad code.
Color Palettes: Here you can create your own ad with color and can save this.
Channels: It is very useful in AdSense. If you have many website with many ad code you can ad channel with your ad code. So that you can know from which website or which ad you are getting click.
Competitive Ad filter: If you do not want any ad appears on your site you can block this from here.
